Hallagreen Publishing & MusicHeals Foundation benefit child burn victims and the Houston Fire Department with charitable art sales and book drive on Friday March 25, 2011 at Contents Fashion Store from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm CST Houston, TX — March 17, 2011 — Arts4Healing Inc, Hallagreen Publishing &MusicHeals Foundation host a benefit for child burn victims nationwide and theHouston Fire Department. Latest MusicHeals Foundationacquisition, Arts4Healing Inc. has curated what will be a fantastic evening of fashion, food, wine, art, literature and music. This free event will include a book drive, fashion models and charitable art sales featuring exclusive work from acclaimed MusicHeals Foundation UK artist Chloe Stewart Semien, Terri Nguyen, Hung Nguyen, Marc Moisi and more. This combined effort from like minded organizations and creative professionals aims toencourage children who have been burned in a fire while supporting those brave and courageous men & women of the Houston Fire Department who risk their lives to serve the community. Newcomers to the Houston arts landscape, Arts4Healing Inc. are responsible for the festivities and are off to a great start keeping in line with their goal to serve as a liaison to bridge the gap between the art and the healthcare communities. Arts4Healing Inc. is paving a path less travelled by the average arts organization by collaborating with medical professionals, artists and complementary organizations such as MusicHeals Foundation & Hallagreen Publishing to curate what will be some of the most memorable fundraisers Houston will ever see. Event sponsor, Hallagreen Publishing producesMarco’s Sick Adventures coloring book series; whichenhance children’s comprehension of their medical illness while promoting physical, psychosocial, mental, and spiritual wellness through stories and learning activities. The company’s founder, Terri Nguyen; has stated that book purchases on March 25th will be donated to children’s burn centers nationwide. Music for the evening will be provided by Ash Semien, founder ofMusicHeals Foundation; in one of his final performances this season. Having recently completed a challenging contemporary re-interpretation of Maurice Ravel’s “Bolero” for the Houston Symphony’s Young Professional’s Backstage and settling into married life with Chloe Stewart Semien of MusicHeals Foundation UK; this rare performance blurs the lines between turntablist, composer & performer while speaking to your soul and propelling your body simultaneously. Chloe Stewart Semien will be in the US and attending the event, exhibiting her new exclusive works created especially for this event. As a skilled and passionate University of Houston alumni, Chloe’s dedicated craft conveys a journey of discovery and healing which consistently connects people on an emotional level and breaks the bounds of consumerist art. Her exclusive series for this exhibit explores a personal positive enlightenment and gratitude to a Higher Power that she invites the viewer to reflect upon and relate to. She will be joined by other local artists with a portion of the proceeds from the art sales benefiting theHouston Fire Department. Content Fashion Store has also offered 25% off regular priced fashion as well as raffles for gift certificates to the store during the event and Hors D’oeuvres & Wine will be on hand.
